Turn up your volume and listen to my tunes..wooooof!

I am dog. I believe in unconditional love. I do not settle for infatuation or puppy love. I believe in true love to the end. I am a life-long lover who will lie at your feet, on the bed, by your chair, at your side. I am dog. I insist on your love. I will stay on a grave of a lover until my end. I believe in commitment. When we have chosen each other, I will be there for you with plenty. Out of my heart flows life and love. You fill my life with abundance and I am fulfilled. Unconditional love is the highest gift. I am committed to love.

Cheap Toy!!!

Kirby's mom here- Well I'm always trying to find ways to challenge Kirby's puzzle solving capabilities. At the shelter we are using brown paper bags to feed some of the dogs and the dogs are loving it, so I thought let's try it with former shelter super dog....KIRBY!! So let's see, we need a dog and a brown paper bag and a few favorite smelly treats:Put the treats in the bag and roll it up tight and let the dog have at it: Yeah, don't you just love the pic above!! Kirby had a blast with this game we did it three times! It was so funny to watch him figure this out. I thought he might just rip the bag open but he didn't, he kept working the bag with his paws until the opening appeared. Give this a try with your pup. If they destroy it no big deal and if they eat part of it no big deal! Lots of fun for you and them. Enjoying the Kirbs, Kirby's Mom

  1. Gosh Kirby, you are SUPER SMART! Were your treats from the Olive Garden? All of a sudden my mom is craving pasta.

  2. Kirby, you are one smart & patient pup! I would have ripped that bag to shreds because I am that impatient. Plus, paper shredding is fun! It makes such fun sounds. TEE HEE

Hoomie Melissa made a cheap toy for us the other day. She used a 1.5 litter mineral water bottle, cut two small holes on two sides of it, taped the sides of the cut holes with masking tape so that it isn't sharp. Then she put some kibbles in the bottle. She then placed it on the floor for us to roll it around. When we rolled it around, kibbles would come out from the holes. It was fun but we doggies are very impatient creatures so after a few seconds of playing, we flattened it like a pancake. Toys never last long with us! HEE

  6. Using a paper bag is a great idea! Gus loves anything paper, especially if we allow him to rip it to shreds. He's very food motivated and I bet he'd enjoy this as much as Kirby did!

  7. Kirby - I know that you know that you are so adorable. But I swear, if I were to put my dogs together, the result would be you! You are so similar to Buzz and Bella, it's ridiculous!!! If we are ever in Michigan, we are absolutely meeting you!!!!
